Introduction

This plugin transparently unpacks ZIP or RAR compressed music files into a
temporary directory and then starts playing the decompressed file. Any file
type supported by WinAmp can be compressed, although for some formats you
wont gain anything by compressing the files.

Installation

Just copy the plugin file "in_unpack.dll" to your WinAmp plugin
directory, usually "C:\Program Files\WinAmp\Plugins". Uninstalling
is just as easy: Delete the file "in_unpack.dll" =)

You also need to install UNZIP32.DLL and/or UNRAR.DLL depending on which
compression you use. These DLL:s can be found at:

    http://www.cdrom.com/pub/infozip/ (InfoZIP home page)
    ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/infozip/WIN32/ (InfoZIP download page)
    http://www.rarsoft.com/ (RarSoft home page)
    http://www.rarsoft.com/rar_add.htm (Rar utilities page)

Oh, one more thing: You must set the environment variable TEMP (or TMP if
you prefer that) to the path of the temporary directory that the plugin
will use to decompress to.

Instructions

To use the decompression, just compress the songs using ZIP or RAR and
rename the archives to MDZ or MDR respectively.

Notes

This plugin will try to be the first plugin to handle the types MDZ and MDR
in order to bypass the ModPlug plugin, if it is installed. This makes it
possible to compress all types of music using only the two file extensions
MDZ and MDR.

After decompression, the plugin will test all the input plugins to see which
one is able to play the unpacked file. Nullsoft plugins will be tested last,
in order to support alternative players, such as Oldskool or ModPlug.
